Chuthaporn is a lecturer in health policy at CACS. She completed a BA in political science at Chulalongkorn University before finishing a MSc in Public Policy from the University of Bristol. She is currently a PhD Candidate in Social Policy at the University of Bristol.
She has a background working at the Ministry of Public Health and at the Department of Disease Control. Her specialization lies in health security policy and health economics, investigating the impact of ASEAN integration on health security and infectious disease prevention.
Chuthaporn’s central research interest has been in the area of policy relating to border health security, health equity and migrant health within ASEAN. She is currently researching how the migrant coverage policy of the Thai Ministry of Public Health relates to the Tak Special Economic Zone and healthcare service for migrant workers.
